I will work tirelessly to defend the right of every Delawarean to participate in the democratic process and prevent voter suppression, working to eliminate barriers that prevent people from voting.

This includes ensuring easy access to multiple voting methods, especially amending our state constitution to permit ‘no excuse’ absentee voting. From the latest available voting information (2024 election) across the country, it is now clear that both parties approve of expanded early and absentee voting.

In addition, in the runup to our last gubernatorial election, it became increasingly clear to me that we need to modernize and update our election laws pertaining to campaign finance. We need to work cooperatively to determine changes that update and improve the timeliness and sufficiency of reported information as well as the investigative and enforcement tools that build confidence among voters.
