I’m deeply grateful to everyone who gave their time and support throughout this election.
So many of you knocked on doors, made calls, showed up at events, and helped carry this campaign forward. Campaigns can be long and demanding, but they also remind you how much we care about our communities and about one another.
Now the election is behind us, and the responsibility of governing continues.
I’m excited about the legislative term ahead – we have a lot of work to do together. We are facing challenges on affordability, education, safe communities, protecting our rights, and making sure lawmaking serves the people of our neighborhoods.

Meet Dan Cruce
When Dan was young, his parents brought him along to community and government meetings where he learned that listening and speaking with neighbors could really make a positive difference. He was raised in a small ranch house in Chesapeake, Virginia, a community renowned for its cultural and racial diversity where he attended public schools.
